Before

20th century landscaping doesn't work today.

Many urban apartment building gardens were designed to benefit the landscaping company.  The photo to the left is an example of a building in Brooklyn, where a weed tree is surrounded by shrubbery. This requires constant maintenance, including shrub pruning, mowing and blowing.  We can do better.

Issues:

1. High Maintenance Costs

2. Aesthetically unpleasant & Functionally unusable

3. Decreased Property Value

21st Century landscaping is about conservation & beauty.

Our design benefits all of the tenants in the building and the community at large.  We replaced the weed tree with a waterfall and the pruned shrubs with ornamental flowering shrubs for seasonal beauty.

Benefits:

After

1. Low Seasonal Maintenance Costs

2. Increased Property Value

3. Asthetically Pleasing
